Weeks ago, I originally said that the lineup was supposed to be out yesterday, but my bet was March 2nd. Everyone discounted this, thought I was a total fraud for suggesting that their lineup could ever come out so late.
Ignoring the fact that the company that posts their lineup never announced a set date, everyone decides various times that the lineup most certainly will come out. It doesn't. Time passes by and we end up in my incredibly late time window that I had the nerve to suggest was accurate.
When myself and other much more legitimate media outlets get wind of the lineup coming out this morning, everyone gets quite excited. We all believe that the lineup is coming out because we've been told that the lineup is coming out. Everyone is excited. Then the lineup isn't out and we're told that it's not coming out, yet. When is it coming out? "Soon" So there's your answer. The same answer we all have. Thanks for taking your anger out on me, though.

Goldenvoice intern here again with a quick update. Not exactly sure when lineup will be announced, but we are looking at by the end of this week, possibly as soon as tomorrow. We are trying to get down the last details before we officially announce anything.
As for which artist will be there, some of you are half correct, others completely wrong. There are going to be some surprises but don't shoot too high, "just let it be." Come April 17th "you shall be released." Anyways I promise everyone will have a good time. After all it is the 10th year anniversary, "its a once in a lifetime."

"I Shall Be Released" was written by Bob Dylan. It was famously covered by the Band, but it is physically impossible for them to reunite so I assume they're referring to Dylan. "Its a once in a lifetime" most likely refers to the Talking Heads, you misread what he said Adam.

Coachella has never been about headliners so maybe this being the 10 year anniversary they want to reward loyal fans and not announce big names until tickets are mainly sold out. You probably won't respond to this comment among all the others... but I figure it's worth looking into anyway: have you asked anything about Jane's Addiction yet? They've been speculated as headliners for a while now, but with the official announcement of an April tour a couple days ago, it suddenly dawned on me that they are actually pretty likely, (not to mention their history with Goldenvoice and the whole festival of course). They'll be releasing a box set in April followed by an American tour, according to their website.
But I see that you have them listed nowhere on the blog. Does that mean you have written them off? Have you not asked at all? Or have you just heard nothing?
