Too soon?

Guess it's not too early to start throwing out a name.

Craze & Klever said they're booked for next year to make up for their no-show this year. The Raveonettes also said they're playing on a myspace post I think. You can find both on the Coachella forum.

Meant Massive Attack--->Muse

Not sure if Glasvegas will still matter by next spring, honestly.

Hey Monk i know its early but around what month do u begin to hear legitimate rumors?

Monklish said...

@anon438 - Usually around Oct/Nov. Sometimes smaller names pop up earlier if they're planning whole spring tours around playing.

@Monklish
Well the Horrors were m.i.a. in 2008 and came back 2009.

Any idea on dates for coachella 2010?

Anonymous said...

^^^^
Stagecoach dates i believe are the wkd of 24-25th. So i would assume Coachella would be the 16-18th.

Anonymous said...

Will we get Pavement, Blur, or Pulp? None of the above?

popsicill said...

Pavement did just announce a reunion.

Monklish said...

Pavement seem likely, for once.
Deerhunter, too.

Anonymous said...

Monklish if Pavement do get on the bill do u see them as a sub or as a headliner?

Monklish said...

@anon243: definitely a sub. Pixies had a larger fan base and still played second fiddle

Anonymous said...

Any idea on headliners? The Coachella boards are buzzing with Muse being a headliner. What do you think? And any other ideas of who could be a headliner?

Monklish said...

Muse seems relatively unavoidable.

Here's a few more names to consider:
Tallest Man on Earth
Little Boots
Hot Chip

popsicill said...

Oh yeah! I'd love to see Hot Chip back. Maybe Major Lazer if they could get Diplo and Switch together? I'm not a fan but there's a lot of buzz where I am about it.

Could a Jay Z be in the wrks for Coachella this year Monklish. I honestly think its time for the greatest rapper alive to take over one night at the polo fields. I know its still early but if u hear anything could u post it. Thanks!!!
